South Fork Snoqualmie Road to Trail Conversion Friday, October 29th, 2010

A sneak peek at the newly converted Hansen Ridge trail along the South Fork of the Snoqualmie in western Washington. This trail is the first step in the long-awaited conversion of National Forest Service roads to mountain bike trails. This project was spearheaded by the Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance (formerly Backcountry Bicycle Trails Club), the Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust, and the National Forest Service. This first segment is 4 miles long. Additional segments will extend the route to over 20 miles. This area is approximately 45 miles due east of Seattle, just minutes off Interstate 90.

Now, Eric is more likely to be found riding one of his many bikes through the city streets rather than mountain trails. He has also shifted his athletic interests to less gadgety sports like kickboxing, crossfit and urban mischief.
